Kwo Wei David Ho, MD, Ph.D., is the lead physician at Nerve and Pain Institute. He is currently the only neurologist with interventional pain fellowship training in the Portland metro area. He completed his neurology residency and pain medicine fellowship training from Stanford University and moved to Portland to serve the local community. He is a leader in the field with over 30 peer-reviewed publications in pain medicine, neurology and neuroscience. He has undergone rigorous medical and scientific training through the Medical Scientist Training Program sponsored by the National Institute of Health, a highly selective program accounting for 1% of US-trained medical doctors. He is an active member of the American Academy of Neurology, American Academy of Pain Medicine, and North American Neuromodulation Society. In addition to English, he speaks fluent Mandarin Chinese.
Dr. Linda Okereke is a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation specialist. Her training consisted of medical school at University of Missouri Kansas City, internship at University of Massachusetts Medical Center and residency at New York Presbyterian Hospitals of Columbia and Cornell. She went on to do a fellowship in spine to perform interventional procedures and non-surgical management of spine conditions at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. She is also trained in general rehabilitation and EMG and nerve conduction studies. She has lived in Portland since 2007 and has worked with the many hospital systems in the city.
Jamie Fung, DNP, AGACNP-BC is a nurse practitioner at Nerve and Pain Institute. She received her Master of Science in nursing degree from the University of Arizona and began her nursing career as an operating room Registered Nurse in Sun City West, Arizona. Wanting to further her education, she later moved to Portland to attend nurse practitioner school at Oregon Health & Science University. She received her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from OHSU, specializing in Adult-Gerontology Acute Care. During her training at OHSU, she developed a passion for treating neurological disorders, leading her to pursue the neurology specialty in her nurse practitioner career. Jamie is board-certified from the American Nurses Credentialing Center as an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP-BC).
